Ceiling fans are functional and decorative. They are particularly useful in the summer, since they effectively reduce energy usage while creating a cool breeze. They can also be used in the winter to gently pull heated air away from the ceiling where it tends to collect.
We are more than happy to provide you with advise, design tips and the installation of your new fan. We have learned alot of helpful installation secrets over the years and we look forward to providing you with our knowledge.
We are also available to repair, relocate or replace an existing fan, or to bring a previous installation up to meet current code requirements.
Don't forget about additional features like light kits, remote control systems and speed/dimmer controls that will enhance your new fan experience.
Here are a couple tips for your new fan:
In the summer, use the ceiling fan in the counterclockwise direction. While standing directly under the ceiling fan you should feel a cool breeze. The airflow produced creates a wind-chill effect, making you "feel" cooler.
In the winter, reverse the motor and operate the ceiling fan at low speed in the clockwise direction. This produces a gentle updraft, which forces warm air near the ceiling down into the occupied space.
